Bilingual education faculty from Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University traveled to Saudi Arabia to evaluate English instruction preparatory programs at Dammam University, Al Baha University and Princess Nourah University. These programs ready educators to teach English as a second language in Saudi Arabia. After consulting the literature, the bilingual faculty reviewed the university programs’ structure, implementation and procedures, and the qualifications of professors and students. Data was collected via survey and classroom observation, and analysis of the data was completed using quantitative and qualitative methods.
