Course Goals

The TAMU Online Bilingual Certification Prep Course is an intensive, fifteen-week course that prepares participants to pass the TExES Bilingual Supplemental certification exams (#102 or #112). Bilingual Supplemental #102 is for Early Childhood through grade 4 (#102, EC-4) and Bilingual Supplemental #112 is for grades 4-8 (#112, 4-8)

Participants will:

  • Learn theories, techniques, and strategies for educating linguistically and culturally diverse students.
  • Acquire the knowledge and skills that are tested by the domains and competencies of the TExES Bilingual Supplemental Exams (#102 or #112)
